Help us support families in need and relieve poverty
Mont La Salle Charity is a Canadian registered charitable foundation aiming to provide support to all families in need. Many families find themselves in less than fortunate situations; we want to do our part in making the world a better place by unifying passionate donors and volunteers in order to coordinate the relief of poverty.
Our programs have been realized through the generous contributions of people just like you, through volunteering and donations. It is thanks to everyone that we have proudly completed several projects allowing us to greatly assist those in need.
In Spring of 2015, alongside the Knight of Columbus and the Jesus the King Church in Toronto, we organized a fundraiser and presented a cheque in the amount of $28 000 to Mother Superior Mona Wazen from the Orphanage of Our Lady of Assumptions of the Salvatorian Sisters in Ferzol, Lebanon.
In the same year, we partnered with the Health Partners International of Canada (HPIC) to help send three shipments of medication to the Cedars Clinic in Lebanon, who offer their medical services throughout the remote villages in the country. During times of struggle, we helped keep their clinics well-stocked and ready to provide the basic necessary care to the afflicted.
Through charitable donations and the work of volunteers, we also successfully provide support to many Canadian families by running seasonal clothing and food drives.
Currently, the instability in the Middle East and especially in Lebanon has sent shockwaves through its economy and populace. The constant turmoil has left many people lacking food, clothing and even shelter. We are looking to partner with the Red In Circle Association (RICA) in order to provide essential food rations to those stricken by this poverty in Lebanon. We are proud to partner with a variety of organizations and businesses to support our community. Our partnerships enable us to expand our reach and provide even more resources and services to those in need.
